1. Offline-First Data Storage & Business Protection

StockBill is engineered as an offline-first POS and inventory management solution. All your critical commercial records—including product inventories, customer ledgers, sales invoices, purchase records, expense entries, and credit (udhar) balances—are saved locally on your device's internal storage.

  • We do not upload, synchronize, or sell your private commercial billing data to any unauthorized external servers.
  • Database backups created by you remain on your local device storage unless you explicitly choose to share or export them.

2. Third-Party Services & Ad Integrations

To provide high-quality services and maintain application stability, the App integrates industry-standard third-party SDKs:

  • Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements (Banner, Interstitial, Rewarded, and Native Ads). AdMob may collect pseudonymous identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID), network state, and diagnostic device analytics to deliver relevant ads and prevent fraud.   • Firebase (Firestore & Core): We use Firebase Firestore exclusively to remotely fetch public application configuration parameters (such as active ad toggles and app version update checks). No personal customer records are shared with Firebase.

3. Device Permissions & Usage

The App requests standard Android device permissions strictly necessary for its functionality:

  • INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to verify online/offline network connectivity, load AdMob advertisements, and perform app update checks.

4. Invoice Sharing & Printing

When you generate or share invoices (via WhatsApp, PDF, or System Print Spooler), the App utilizes standard Android document intent handlers. These actions are strictly initiated by the user, and no invoice details are sent to our servers.

5. Children’s Privacy

StockBill is a business utility application intended for commercial merchants and shop owners. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data Security

We apply robust security practices to keep your offline business data secure on your device. Since your records are kept on your physical device, you retain full ownership and discretion over your commercial information.
