Privacy Policy - Diwali 360

Welcome to Diwali 360 ("Application", "we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a safe and joyful festive experience. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

Short Summary: Diwali 360 does not collect, store, or sell any of your personally identifiable information (PII) or sensitive personal data. All your photo edits and festive greeting creations are processed safely on your device or via secure temporary requests without permanent storage on our servers.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. When you use our application, we may interact with the following types of information:

  • User-Selected Photos & Images: When you use our AI Photo Studio, Greeting Card Maker, or Business Poster Creator, you may choose an image from your device via the Android System Photo Picker or capture a photo using your camera. These images are used exclusively in real-time to generate your festive greetings and are saved only to your local device storage. We do not collect, upload, or store your personal photos on our private servers.
  • Device and Usage Information (Non-Personal): Technical information such as your device model, operating system version, anonymous unique device identifiers, language settings, and general network state to ensure smooth app performance and compatibility.
  • Crash & Performance Data: Anonymized diagnostic logs to identify and fix technical glitches and optimize application performance.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information strictly for:

  • Providing and delivering core festive features (AI photo greetings, countdowns, festive calendar, recipe viewer, digital diya, firecracker simulation, and business posters).
  • Displaying advertisements that support free access to all application features.
  • Maintaining and improving app stability, fixing bugs, and enhancing user experience.
  • Checking for app version updates through Firebase Cloud Firestore.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To keep the application 100% free for all users, we integrate industry-standard, trusted third-party SDKs that may collect non-identifiable, pseudo-anonymous data in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies:

  • Google AdMob: Used to display Banner, Interstitial, Rewarded, and Native Advance advertisements. AdMob may collect advertising IDs (AAID), IP addresses, and interaction data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
    Google Privacy Policy
  • Meta Audience Network (Facebook Mediation): Mediates ad requests to optimize advertisement delivery.
    Meta Privacy Policy
  • Google Firebase & Cloud Firestore: Used for real-time remote configuration, checking latest app versions, and dynamic feature management.
    Firebase Privacy Terms

4. Permissions and User Control

The Application requests only the minimal permissions required to function:

  • INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to fetch festival data, check updates, stream devotional content, and load advertisements.
  • Camera & Photo Access: Accessed solely upon your explicit action when creating a poster or portrait. We utilize Android's secure System Photo Picker, ensuring the app does not have broad access to your photo library.

You can revoke any hardware permissions at any time through your device's Settings > Apps > Diwali 360 > Permissions.

5. Data Storage and Security

We prioritize the security of your data. All created greeting cards, business posters, and customized text wishes are stored locally on your device using sandboxed storage. We implement modern security practices to safeguard against unauthorized access or alteration.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our application is designed for general family audiences celebrating the festive season of Diwali. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly remove such data.

7. GDPR & CCPA Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or California (USA), you have the following rights under GDPR and CCPA:

  • The right to know what personal data is processed.
  • The right to opt-out of personalized advertising via your device settings (Google Settings > Ads > Delete or Reset Advertising ID).
  • The right to request deletion of any diagnostic data associated with your interaction.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or application features. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
